Ever since I had my Phillip Lim Pashli stolen out of hotel room in NYC (yes it sucked), I’ve been looking for that comfy every day purse that’s the perfect size and fits all my necessities. After weeks of deliberation and research I came across this textured leather Moschino cross-body. I’m in love with the simplicity of the design, it adds sophistication and edge to any look. The look is pretty simple: distressed boyfriend jeans with a relaxed stripy chiffon top and nude ankle-strap heels.
Thank you for reading and I hope you are all having a fantastic week!

Recreating The GUESS Campaign

Written by , Posted in Fashion

Hello everyone,

I love adventures and creative challenges, so when GUESS approached me and asked to recreate their famous All-American Nashville Campaign I instantly got excited.

With this look I wanted to recreate that sexy iconic look of the All-American girl. I paired an edgy panel skirt with a silk polka dot corset and topped it off with a cropped leather jacket to toughen up the look. I had so much fun running around downtown LA shooting at sunrise. Since I got an office loft downtown, I really noticed how my style has been changing and evolving. I feel rather inspired by the beautiful people in the fashion district running around with coffee and binders to Fashion Showrooms. GUESS in my opinion has always had those sexy key pieces that look good on the body and give you a power woman confidence. What are some of your favorite pieces from the GUESS Nashville Collection?

Black Nylon

Hello everyone,

A few weeks back I bought this weird mesh top at a small boutique on Melrose with the purpose of challenging myself to style it in a cool way. It’s one of those pieces that can be paired in a totally casual way or dressing it up with a polished zippered jacket and strappy booties. Paired with the high waisted shorts it creates an hourglass silhouette, which is always a YAS.

Mirrored Vibes & Summer Must-Haves

Written by , Posted in Fashion, Lifestyle

Hello everyone,

There is nothing like a relaxing walk at sunset overlooking beautiful lake views and downtown Los Angeles. Sometimes I forget how blessed I am to live in Southern California and to have all this beauty chilling in my backyard.

I like mixing relaxed textures like a soft sweatshirt with a structured skirt. I think it’s saying ” Hey I’m put together, but I didn’t try too hard”. Even though the pieces couldn’t be more different the mirrored print on the skirt complements the mesh cutout on the sweatshirt- all thought out!

Leather Overalls & Brasil

Written by , Posted in Fashion

Hey loves,

If you’ve been reading my blog or watching my Youtube channel for some time now- you know that I’m not exactly the world’s biggest sports fanatic. However, something I’ve unintentionally hid from you guys is that my favorite sport of all time it football (refuse to call it soccer). As long as I could remember myself, my family and friends would always gather around the TV and watch the FIFA and UEFA cups with so much passion. Initially I watched because of my childish crushes on Kaka and Cristiano Ronaldo, but eventually I came to really understand and love the game. If you’ve ever been on a European street after their country won, it’s mad insanity- people hugging strangers, blowing fireworks, jumping on cars and just freaking losing their minds. I loved being part of that. Even though Moldova has never really made it far, I just chose a team that I loved the most and cheered for them. SO yeah, GO Brasil. Not to mention how cute are the flag colors, right?:))

Who are you rooting for?

This look is a fun take on a sporty vibe with a relaxed edgy flare. The leather overalls are everything I want from life and more (deep I know). Nevertheless, I wanted to give my praise to these incredible sneakers I’ve owned for over 8 months now and they’re still in the best condition, considering I wear them at least 3 times a week. I just LOVE the studded design, orange soles and suede finish. I literally get stopped on the street almost every time I wear them. Thank you Barons Papillom for making these shoes, we’re in a long term relationship and still going strong :)

On a busy day filled with meetings I like to wear something a lady boss would wear but also have the versatility of dressing out in case I need to meet up with my friends after- hence the white denim tie-around. The look is fairly minimal and neutral with a few holographic mermaid details. This Urban Outfitters clutch is gold since it fits just my necessities like phone, cards, car key & Chapstick; which makes it perfect for running around. I came to the realization that I hate big purses, so all I wear is either a tiny cross-body or a leather backpack. Speaking of leather backpacks, let me know if you guys would like a post on sharing my favorite ones! Hope you guys are having a fabulous week!

I hope everyone is enjoying their first official days of summer. Whoohoo! On most days I dress comfy with a touch of elegance. For this look I combined a flouncy pleated skirt and a mirrored tropical print sweatshirt. The fringe backpack is the pop of color that makes the look that much more fun. I also scored these adorable subtle cameo print sneakers at a Nike sale- I’m obsessed! Yay for effortless days!

Recreating the Runway:: Alexander Wang & Forever21

Written by , Posted in Fashion

Hey everyone,

Today I’m doing something a little bit different on the blog. One of my all time favorite designers is Alexander Wang and his latest Spring/Summer 2014 collection is still playing in my head like a fresh soundtrack. I’m mesmerized by the clean lines, crisp silhouettes and of course abundance of structure. I thought I would pick out a few pieces from Forever21 to recreate the vibe from the recent collection to provide some inspiration for those who can’t afford the real deal, but really love the signature look. Enjoy!

My personal favorite from the look would have to be the shoes. I picked them out because I thought they had that strappy edgy look that Alexander Wang shoes have and they’re super nice, as they’re real leather. Thanks so much for reading and I hope your’e having a fantastic week!

I was reading some cheesy quotes on Pinterest the other day and came across this quote by Chanel: “Before you leave the house, look in the mirror and take one thing off.” I originally had a jacket, a hat and a chambray shirt tied around my waist with this outfit. I took Coco quite literally and took all the extra layers off and discovered that this was the “golden means” I was missing out on when I was trying so hard to make the look more elaborate or “interesting” . Dress, sneakers and a body chain. It’s just as simple as that sometimes.

Baroque Jacket & Mixed Metals

Hello everyone,

With Spring in full swing I got to update my wardrobe with a few essentials that I will keep recycling over and over for the upcoming season. I love the baroque detailing on the jacket mixed with leather and lace. The shoes are the strappy chunky sandal I’ve been searching for months. I wanted some comfy chunky heel sandals for every day wear that would also go with everything, so I pretty much screamed when I saw these on Net-a-Porter!

Ever since Coachella I’ve been obsessed with head pieces and body chains. Body chains on flowy summer dresses are the ultimate mix of edgy and bohemian. And last but not least I wanted to honor the piece that brings the whole look together. I’ve been eyeing this beauty for a while now. Since I don’t like to wear big purses I was looking to invest in a small versatile purse, so after months of endless research I went with the mixed metals 3:1 Phillip Lim Pashli. It’s just so great since it’s a mixture of gunmetal, gold and silver and can go with every piece of jewelry possible. It’s also an edgy statement to break up any overly feminine look.
